Really!?!?!?!

~

OK, I am at my witts end!

Are my boys slobs, and lazy slobs at that?

I know they are 4 and fixing to be 3 but GEEZE!

How hard is it to not dump out your dresser when getting dressed? REALLY!?! Or when looking for a toy, not to completely dump out the toy box and the toy they are looking for not to be there so they move on to the next toy box and do the exact same thing... NEVER having picked up a single toy????? Do other kids do this? Are my kids the odd balls? I am just baffled?

In the living room they will drag toys out but once I say its time to clean up they are , The oldest is like a mad man cleaning up. I mean he picks up everything and will even vacuum. I am honestly impressed at how well he cleans up, everything in its place. BUT, when it comes to their room, its like night and day!

I dunno maybe I should be greatful at how well they he can clean up the living room and just shut their bedroom door and just deal with it. But I seriously can feel my blood start to boil when I walk past their room after finally myself cleaning it up, fighting with them tooth and nail to get them to help me, only having the clean room last all of what? 2 hours?? That is their room, so I prefer them to play in there. BUT GEEZE!

Please tell me I am not alone?

Please tell me my boys are not the odd balls?

Ohh Lord, Give me Strength!

  1. Dear Dear Dana, by no means are you alone, and i only have one. But she makes the mess of 10 children. And there are days that I could just walk away. lol. I can get the whole house so clean, and I am so proud of it. for all of 10 flipping minutes. Because while I thought she was being good, while i cleaned. She was off where I started making an even bigger mess. And thats pretty much how everyday goes. But you gotta love em. Marquita

  2. Hey girlie- I am right there with ya. I keep threatening to put all of the toys in the top of the closet except maybe one or two. I figure maybe if I limit their resources, but then I picture Asher somehow managing to climb to retrieve them...

  3. So glad to hear that the boys are not alone.... But Geeze it drives me crazy. I really hope they do not get more for Christmas too, I have already gone through alot of them and took to Goodwill.

I cannot even begin to say how much I HATE cleaning in circles! LOL
